Q. How long will it take me to design
and write my Curriculum Vitae using the relevant CV template and guidance
notes? A. You need to put aside two hours as a minimum
- three or four hours is realistic if you have substantial
work experience to describe.
Q. How do I know which CV template to choose?
A. Look at the CV Examples section of this website,
you will find further information there. If in doubt please
telephone the office for advice.
Q. I see the CV templates use Microsoft®
Word - what skills do I need? The Quality CV.co.uk CV templates use Microsoft®
Word and require basic familiarity with this software - specifically:
Opening and saving files
Selecting text, using cut, copy and
paste
Changing column widths
Users of Microsoft® Word will find the templates
a pleasure to use: easy on the eye, flexible and adaptable.
Q. What size is the file download? A. The CV template and guidance notes (two files) are packaged
together in a single zipped download of c.45KB. Once unzipped
the two files are less than 200KB. If you are unfamiliar with
unzipping files click

Users of Windows XP do not have to worry about this - the
folder will unzip automatically.
Q. Can I upgrade from 3* to 4* service
once I have completed the template? A. Yes you can, at a set fee of £69.95. Ordering
a 4* service at the outset will save you money.
